We had a great weekend in California. We played all day at Knott's Berry Farm and then hit the beach for a few hours the next day. The twins did amazing, considering they had no nap and they played hard. I think we have future roller coaster riders in the family. One day, I will be sitting all by myself while all of my family twists, turns, and loops around on the roller coasters.

This is the first ride that Rich and the girls went on. Oh, how they love the wooden roller coasters. It brings back many of memories of Lagoon with the Hayes Family.

This was a big door that the twins were trying to get open. I should have video taped it. It was funny to watch everyone smiling and chuckling at the two of them.

The third car back is Kaylin and Maren. They were riding the Pony Express.
Maren was a much better driver then Kaylin at the Bumper Cars.
She might not be able to control the car to well, but dang she is a cutie.
Roller coaster #2 That the crew went on. First you did the track forwards, and then you went backwards on it.

Mom ended up on the ride too. When your husband is 6 foot 4 and you are only 5 foot 4, you have to take one for the team and go on the kiddie rides. Maren gave us a thumbs up that Blake was having a good time.
Jocie was excited to ride in the "French Fry" car. However, she ended up crying and getting off the ride before it began.
The Anaheim Ducks were at the Park that day. I have no idea who they are, but here is a pictures of a couple of the players.
After a long day in the park, I stayed at the hotel with Jocie and Blake while Rich and the girls went back to the park to hit a couple more roller coasters and thrill rides they had missed. This is Blake just chillin after his bath.

There was no one on the beach, so we had miles and miles of sand and waves to ourselves. I love that the water is blue off the Cali coast.
Rich loves the beach. I think it has something to do with the two years he spent in Hawaii. It is therapeutic to him to just watch the waves come crashing in.

Rich loved that Blake couldn't get enough of the waves. Blake would try to rush in as the waves receded, trying to get his toes wet. The water was freezing, so we weren't sure what he was going to do, but he had a blast.

Like I said, HOTTIES!We had a great time, and like all vacations, they come and go so quickly. Lucky for us, the beach is only four hours away. I am sure we will be back soon.

Oh, wow! I'm jealous. That looks like such a blast and - boy - that beach is beautiful. Can you believe we live on the coast and Gabi still hasn't seen the beach?

OK, since my first comment didn't post I will try again. I love the pictures especially the ones of Rich and Blake. They are precious and ones you will want to save forever. Kaylin and Maren and such good big sisters. As far as Kaylin and the bumper cars, when does she start to drive? Scary thought. Although if little Maren is so good at the bumper cars, maybe it is she that we should be concerned about being on the road!
