The Beach Day Two of Cali Trip

The next day of our trip, we hit the beach! We heard the water was a brisk 68 degrees, so the first order of business was getting wet suits for everyone. Kaylin was very unsure of the ocean after reading on Yahoo that California had an infestation of Jellyfish this year. She didn't pick out a wetsuit, but after about an hour of walking up and down the beach with me and no luck of finding shells, she slowly ventured into the water with just her bathing suit on. To me, she is the toughest of the bunch.

The whole crew LOVED boogie boarding. We spent about 5 hours on the beach. It was perfect! In fact, the girls and Rich have already talked about a trip back to the ocean for more days of fun. Kaylin and I need to get wetsuits before we do that one. We spent that evening driving up to Anahiem sandy, wet, and packed in our Pilot with 4 adults, 3 kids, and luggage for 7. Needless to say, we all hit the shower when we checked in to the hotel that night.
