So, days three and four of our trip were filled with memories of the Happiest Place on Earth...DISNEYLAND!!! What a great time we had. First of all, it was hot and humid. We all had flashbacks to Texas weather after being in the dry desert heat for the last couple of months. However, we found that shade, the airconditioned rides, and lots of water helped with the sun and heat. We were not going to let that spoil our fun.
Day Three
We head to Disneyland and learn the joy of a fast pass. This is a great invention, you scan your ticket and are given a time to come back to a ride and by pass on all the people standing in line. WOW!!! We had it down to a science on when to get the next pass so that we could ride hop from one ride to another. We made it to the park around 10:30am excited and ready for the lines, the crowds, the smiles, and fun.
Here is the list of rides we hit:
1. Indiana Jones (broke down in line had to come back)
2. Pirates of the Carribean (broke down in line had to come back)
3. Splash Mountain (didn't break down, but we did have to wait on the ride, because of some people switching places in front of us)
4. Thunder Mountain Railroad (didn't break down and I was not in line with the group Hmm?)
5. Tea Cups (no throwing up afterwards!)
6, Peter Pan (classic a must go on!)
7. Animation Blaster (Loved this one)
We had a scare with Kaylin as her blood sugar dropped and she was very much disoriented and out of the loop. We got some food in her, and within 30 minutes she was back to her happy self. (Just a side note---she is growing like a weed!) We continued to feed her and Megan (who is diabetic) regularly for the next two days.
We saw the Princess Parade and thought about Gabi the whole time. The girls kept asking me if I got this picture and that picture so we could send them to her. Later that night, we saw the Fireworks Celebration for the Year of Imagination Memories. It was unbelievable. The fireworks were right over us and we had an amazing time seeing them.
We ended the night with one more ride on Indiana Jones and headed for the hotel around 11:30pm.
However, the night didn't end there, because we all had to stay up and watch Michael Phelps do his thing. GO USA!
Day Four
Breakfast was a little later that day. Everyone was filling the sunburn from the beach and the touch of heat exhaustion from the prior day in the park. But, ready or not we left again and headed to California Adventure. Once again we started our plan head for the fast passes and let the day begin.
The first ride we tried to go on was the Toy Story Mania 4-D game. This is the best ride in California Adventure. Somehow they should sell that game to Wii. It would make a killing. However, on our first attempt in line their was a malfunction and the ride was closed down. We were given passes to come back later. We did just that and was very grateful that we had the pass that allowed us to go right on. It was worth the wait. I think Rich won, but not beating me by much.
The other rides were
1. Monster's Inc (Super Cute)
2. Talking with Crush the Turtle (Amazing and Funny)
3. Then the girls and Rich went on the swings and space ship (AKA vomit producers)
4. Grizzly Rapids (So Fun and Rich and Lori were the wettest)
5. Maren, Rich, and Stu went on the Tower Drop
6. Maren, Rich, and Stu on the California Coaster

Kaylin, Megan, Lori, and I rode the bench in the shade. We even were able to eat on the ride...chocolate colored strawberries, mango, popcorn, and limeades. It was time well spent.

Our next adventrue was heading back to the hotel to cool off. Rich slept, the rest of us jumped in the pool. After a quick dinner from Del Taco and a good 15 degree drop in temperature we were ready to head back to finish off the last of our Disneyland fun.
We watched the Electrical Parade and then headed over to see the Good vs Evil Laser Show. Both were great. Rich, Stu, and the girls got in two more rides while Lori and I held seats for the show. After the show, SHOPPING! Rich promised the girls that they could get their disney stuff the last day in the park. So at 11:30 that night we hit the shops. The girls picked out minis, shirts, and neckalces. Jocey got a baby mini and a t-shirt, while black got a baseball and a pirate shirt.
Then it was one last tram ride to the Lion King Parking Lot and our memories will have to hold us till we can bring the twins to have fun with us.

We've got to go to Disneyland. Gabi would have a fit.
I love Disneyworld and Disneyland. Maybe when the twins are older we can have a family reunion there. That would be a blast.
