Kaylin had her school dance performance on Friday. She looked cute as can be. She finished off the weekend having a group of friends over for food and fun. It was hillarious to watch her guy friends play Just Dance on the Xbox Kinect. Rich and I were very impressed by the great group that she hangs out with at school. Kay is also on the countdown to the end of school. She is excited to go to EFY at BYU next month.
Maren has been super busy with soccer and school dance team. Her soccer team plays in their end of season tournament this weekend. Their team has improved greatly over the season. Playing up a division, they finished the regular season in second place with a 4-2-3 record. For school dance, she has had to choreograph a dance with two friends for their end of year grade. Maren is quite the choreographer and their dance has turned out very cute. Maren is excited for Dance Camp next month.
Blake started speech a few weeks ago and is loving it. He is working on the blending sounds and enjoys doing his homework. I can't believe how much he has grown up. He is such a handsome little thing.
Jocie has turned into an artist. She loves to draw all day. She has made pictures for both sets of Grandparents and got a special call from Grandma and Grandpa Brown to thank her. It made her day. She made a picture yesterday for her primary teacher who made the biggest fuss over the class picture that she drew. She can't wait for the fall because she is going to give ballet...one more try.
Rich and the kids gave me a great mother's day. They made dinner, had cleaned up, let me sleep in, and Kaylin even spoke in church. My brother Kyle sent me the sweetest text that meant so much to me. I also got a kitchenaid mixer which I love!
Summer will keep us busy. We have friends, the Jones,coming the end of May, camps in June (EFY and Dance Camp) and a Student Council Retreat sometime, Utah for the fourth, a fun girl's weekendend with Lori and Megan, Girl's Camp, a beach trip, great movies that our family is excited to see together, a visit from Marshall and family, and cross our fingers Kyle's family will make it out. (Hint hint Maren)
So, there will be lots to blog about. We have a great time together...some people don't get us, Oh well, because we are who we are and we love being us.

I don't think there will be a dull moment at the Brown house this summer. And wait until you see baby Kyle...he is so darn cute. Truly a blessing. We won't be busy this summer except at rehab for the shoulder. You enjoy yours with your family...they are growing like weeds.
