The Twins

We are on the countdown to the twin's 4th birthday. Yes, you read that right. FOUR years old. It is so hard to believe that they are little people now. We have decided we can't call them the babies anymore and they are officially the "twins." They have learned so many things lately and the sayings that come out of their mouths make us laugh. Rich, the girls, and I were saying the other day that we have made it...we have survived, they are little people now. Kaylin quickly reminded us that they are not official little people until they can make their own chocolate milk and wipe their bums. We all just nodded in agreement.

Blake is so into technology that he amazes me everyday. He can see a kid website on the TV and somehow he is able to find it on the computer. I swear that kid can read. He loves to ride his bike, jump on the trampoline, and tease his sisters, big and small, till they scream. Yes, adding that Eric to his name was truly inspiring. (If you know my Dad, he is the biggest tease of them all.)

Jocie is all girl. She loves lip gloss and asking you if she looks pretty. She is very into art. She loves drawing, coloring, and painting. She could care less about the xbox or riding her bike, but she does love the trampoline, especially when her sisters will jump with her. She is getting really good at writing her name. Jocie will remind you that she is her Daddy's princess.

Both Jocie and Blake have found the "joy" in commercials. They have easily made their birthday list thanks to commercials on the HUB and Nick Jr. Blake will pause the DVR and call you in to show you something "new" that he has found. My favorite are the things that they have picked out for me. They tell me I have to have the egg cracker (because I obviously can't crack an egg by myself) and then Blake kindly told me and Kaylin that if we got Proactive it would get rid of the dots on our face. So, he is observant. What can you do but laugh?

We love those two little stinkers...we have to say we were not super thrilled when we learned that two little ones were coming our way, but we couldn't wouldn't change what they have added to our family. And just think, when Kaylin is practicing for her final take of the SAT, Joce and Blake will be running around singing ABC! We love our family.
