Saturday, Rich and I were downstairs, when Kaylin yelled down, "Hey guys, you won't believe what Blake has." This quote has become one we hear quite often and usually we find him with markers, painted toe nails, our cell phones, trying to put Wii games in, things of those nature.
Well, this one was just a little different. Blake found Rich's hand gun. It was in the night stand unloaded and trigger protected of course, and in a holster. Blake found it, took it out of the holster and graciously went to show his sisters his treasure! There is no way that he nor any of the girls could ever fire it, in face with the safety mechanism on it, I could barely shoot it if needed.
Needless to say the guns are now out of reach out of sight, and will soon be in a gun safe where there is no way our curious little boy will be able to get his hands on them.
After this happened Maren said, "So Dad when are you going to get Blake a BB Gun, to which I responded...NEVER!"

Isn't it amazing that you have had that gun all these years and it takes Blake a little less than two years to find it? What a boy!
My first thought was, "Oh boy, your dad is going to die!" I can not believe that Blake. He's a stinker.
