We are nine months into our first year of "Year Round" School. And, I can honestly say that nine months in, I hate it as much as day one. However, there are some pros that go along with the cons of having one child in nine month school and one in year round school.
Cons
1. Vacation Scheduling Problems
2. When do we all get to sleep in?
3. You can't celebrate the end of school when one is done and the other has to go back the next week.
Pros.
1. Get to spend some quality time with each of the girls one on one.
2. Nice to have one of the girls home to help me out.
3. Seeing your child excited to be able to hang out with you.
So, we will finish up year one on Aug 2nd, with a 2 week break and than back to year 2.
