Work Christmas Parties

Tonight was Rich's first work Christmas party here in Las Vegas. WOW! It was so different then the family oriented parties we had back with the ladies in Killeen. Last year, we had his office party at the local "Blow up, Jumpy" place. We had relish trays, good ol' southern sides, cokes, and cupcakes and cheesecake. Yes, a very family friendly party. The kids jumped until it was time to go home and there were races by the bigger boys!

Well, the party tonight was vastly different. First, there were around 200 people instead of 25. Second, there were no kids at the party. Third, we had a buffet dinner and an open bar. Last, there was some really bad karaoke, and a few attempts at dancing under the direction of a 250lb 5"7 man named Tiny.

The company we had at our table was nice, but we had to yell over the music to try to talk to each other. Needless to say, I am glad that huge work parties only come once a year. I much prefer the smaller dinner parties that we have had over the last few months.

Some people left we some great door prizes ranging from $25 gift cards to and xbox 360. No, we didn't win anything. But it was fun to watch some of the people's faces when they did. Well, till next year...Merry Christmas Pioneer!
