Just when you think you are calling the shots and that life is agreeing with you quiet frequently, you begin to see what is really going on, by taking a little step back, and realize that it is not control that you have. It is more the opportunity to not go in sane on a daily basis.
Examples: Blake and Jocleyn have learned to strip down to their birthday suits during their naps and at bedtime. The fact that they do this in the dark after the Good Nights and Kisses have been given, creates a bigger problem. They are peeing (and thank goodness that is all as of now) in the cribs. So, this now adds extra loads of laundry which have to be done before the next nap so that the babies can have their sheets and their special blankets.
The weather has been a little nicer lately, so the twins have been spending time out on the back porch. They love to throw rocks and ride their cars. Blake loves when Maren play soccer with him.
I have managed to use the time while Jocie and Blake are outside to get stuff done downstairs. It works well for me until I tell them they need to come inside. (They don't much like the coming in part)
