Another week, another evacuation, which means...another hurricane! It seems that my family made it home in time to evacuate again from good ol' Mother Nature. This time with Ike heading right for them all. I have had friends and family from all over call and email with updates on everyone's location, so here it goes.
Mom, Dad, Maren, Ryan, & Braydon are in Hudson, Florida with Grandma Petersen. Dad hopes to return back to Beaumont as soon as possible.
Chad, Lela, Emma, & Hayes are staying with a neighbor in Katy, TX (west of Houston) who has a generator.
Kyle, Holli, Gabi, and Marshall are in Buna (40 miles north of Beaumont) with Holli's family. Everyone is "hunkered down" waiting to see Ike come ashore!
As for us, we are again sitting here, wishing their was more we could do to help. So again our prayers go out everyone on the Texas Gulf Coast. I will keep everyone updated with info as it is we receive it.
